From The Editor- Rebuilding Your Life After A Felony

Life is filled with new beginnings as we continue to embrace who we are and what we want in life. We can take a look back on our pasts and shake our heads about the stupid mistakes that we’ve made and subsequently smile because we recognize our growth.

Some mistakes may leave a lasting impression, but the stain will fade once we recognize that our true power to overcome bad habits and move on from unwise decisions lies within.

This week’s fantasy is Rebuilding Your Life After a Felony. It’s important to explore this fantasy simply because the consequences of unlawful acts may follow you throughout the rest of your life if you allow them to.

I’m here to encourage you to accept who you are and the mistakes of your past. If you continue to blame others for your situation or continue to live in despair due to the imprisonment of your mind, you will be tied to lack and failure forever.

There are significant ways to work through life even when you have a constant reminder of your unwise choices. Though the world may seem unforgiving and harsh, you have to make the decision to change your circumstances by transforming your outlook and daring to embrace the possibility of a brighter future.

You are not a lost cause. You are not unworthy of happiness, success and love. You are a wonderful creation and your life’s happiness will be redeemed the minute you make the decision to stand up and fight for your dream.

Many blessings as you embark on your second chance at life.

In Love,

Te-Erika
